You've been strong for everyone else your whole life.
Now it's time to be strong for YOU.
You KNOW what to do.
You just keep abandoning yourself.
As a woman of color, you were raised to be strong, capable, dependable, and selfless, for your family, your community, your partner, your job. You learned how to show up for everyone else. Somewhere along the way, you stopped showing up for yourself.
Not because you didn’t care.
Because your needs always came last.
Your body was never the priority. You were. And somewhere between carrying every responsibility and meeting every expectation, you learned to abandon yourself physically and call it sacrifice.
For years, you’ve been taught that your worth comes from what you can carry, endure, and do for others. So you’ve approached fitness through guilt, punishment, and standards that were never built for you. Working out to earn something. To fix something. To look acceptable.
Never to feel powerful.
Never to feel like your body actually belongs to you.
You’ve started over more times than you can count…not because you don’t know what to do, but because every program you’ve tried handed you a plan and disappeared.
No accountability.
No standards.
No one who actually expected you to follow through.
So when life got busy (as it always does!) you fell off track. And then you blamed yourself.
But the problem was never a lack of information. You already know what healthy habits look like. The problem is that no one has consistently held you to them. Every program wished you luck and left you on your own.
So when life got hard, and life always gets hard, you didn’t need more motivation. You needed structure, accountability, and someone who refused to let you off the hook.
UNCOMMON EMBODIMENT IS THE PROGRAM YOUVE BEEN LOOKING FOR
This is not a gentle wellness journey...
This is not intuitive eating and self-compassion and showing up however feels good that day.
This is disciplined, structured, high-expectation fitness and nutrition coaching that holds you to a standard and doesn’t lower it when life gets hard.
You are expected to show up.
To follow the program.
To track your nutrition.
To do the work even when you don’t feel like it.
Especially when you don’t feel like it.
I will be there to support you every step of the way, but you will be required to do the work.
What that discipline builds:
YOUR BODY
Real strength. Real physical capability. Not a temporary transformation but a permanent shift in how you show up physically.
YOUR HABITS
Structure and consistency that stops falling apart the moment life gets loud.
YOUR SELF TRUST
Every time you follow through, you build proof that you are someone who keeps her word to herself. That evidence compounds.
YOUR DISCIPLINE
It bleeds into everything. A woman who shows up for her body starts showing up differently everywhere.
YOUR SELF TRUST
Your standard: You stop accepting less from yourself than you accept from everyone else.
YOUR LEGACY
You stop modeling depletion and self-neglect and start showing the other women of color watching you what it actually looks like to take care of yourself without apology.
Ready to stop abandoning yourself ?
HI, I'M ANJALI!
I’m Anjali: a lawyer, NASM certified personal trainer, NASM certified wellness coach, NASM certified nutrition coach, NASM certified flexibility and stretching coach, and RYT-500 yoga teacher who has spent years using fitness, movement, and disciplined habits as tools to rebuild my own life from the inside out.
I didn’t come to this work from the outside. I came to it as a woman of color who spent years approaching her own body through guilt, inconsistency, and impossible standards, and had to learn the hard way what it actually takes to build real discipline, real strength, and a real relationship with yourself physically. That experience is in everything I do.
My writing on wellness, identity, and the experience of being a woman of color has been published in The Washington Post, HuffPost, Culture Trip, YourTango, and Elephant Journal.

What I don’t do...
I don’t coach women to shrink themselves, earn their food, or perform wellness for anyone else. I coach women to build the kind of physical strength, disciplined habits, and unshakeable consistency that changes not just their bodies, but the standard they hold themselves to in every area of their lives.
This is not soft work. It is not gentle encouragement and good vibes. It is structured, high-expectation coaching that requires you to show up, and delivers real results when you do.
Are we a good fit?
This IS for you if...
You are done putting yourself last and ready to show up for your body the way you show up for everyone else.
You are tired of starting over and ready to build real strength, discipline, and consistency—not another short-lived burst of motivation.
You want to stop leading with guilt, shame, and impossible standards and start building self-respect through your actions.
You understand that real transformation requires showing up when it’s hard, staying accountable, and becoming a woman who keeps her word to herself.
This is NOT for you if...
You are looking for a gentle, go-at-your-own-pace wellness experience with no real accountability or expectations.
You want to be encouraged regardless of whether you follow through.
You are not ready to be held to a high standard and do the actual work.
You want motivation and inspiration instead of structure and discipline.
The Experience
Understanding Your Body, Goals & Starting Point
Month 1
Before real transformation can happen, we need to understand where you are starting from: physically, mentally, and behaviorally. Together, we establish realistic goals, identify the habits and patterns keeping you stuck, and create a fitness and wellness approach that actually fits your life.
In this phase, we focus on:
- understanding your current routines, habits, mindset, and relationship with fitness
- identifying the patterns behind inconsistency, burnout, self-neglect, perfectionism, or constantly starting over
- establishing realistic goals around strength, body composition, confidence, energy, discipline, and overall wellness
- building a personalized approach to lifting, cardio, movement, recovery, and nutrition
- creating structure that feels demanding but doable instead of extreme or punishing
Building Strength, Discipline & Consistency
Months 2-4
This phase focuses on helping you become someone who consistently follows through. Real transformation is built through repetition, structure, discipline, and learning how to keep showing up even when motivation disappears.
Together, we focus on:
- building consistent lifting, movement, cardio, and wellness habits
- developing greater discipline, accountability, and follow-through
- improving physical strength, endurance, confidence, energy, and resilience
- creating healthier routines around fitness, nutrition, recovery, sleep, and self-care
- learning how to stop using setbacks as an excuse to quit, stress, inconsistency, travel, busy schedules, or perfectionism without completely falling off track
Throughout this phase, you’ll receive ongoing programming, accountability, check-ins, and support designed to help you stop constantly “starting over” and begin building real momentum.
Creating Long-Term Physical Confidence & Self-Trust
Months 5+
The goal is not temporary motivation or short-term transformation. The goal is becoming someone who trusts herself, follows through consistently, and has a stronger relationship with her body, habits, and overall well-being long-term.
In this phase, we focus on:
- evolving your goals as your confidence, strength, and habits improve
- developing long-term consistency and sustainable discipline
- building a healthier relationship with your body rooted in self-respect instead of criticism or punishment
- creating routines and habits that support the life you want long-term
- feeling stronger, more capable, more energized, and more confident in your daily life
This work is about more than fitness. It’s about becoming someone who can rely on herself consistently: physically, mentally, and emotionally.
