Ready to stop building your life around everyone else's expectations?
You already know the life you're living isn't fully yours.
As a millennial woman of color you were raised to be responsible, dependable, successful, and good: for your family, your culture, your community, and everyone who depended on you. You learned early that your needs came last. And you’ve been living that way ever since.
You feel trapped between who you actually are and who everyone around you expects you to be. Your family. Your culture. Your relationship. Your job. The version of you that was built to perform, achieve, and make everyone proud, and the version underneath that has never fully been allowed to exist.
You constantly worry about disappointing people, making the wrong choice, seeming selfish, or being judged for wanting something different.
So you stay. You shrink. You edit yourself. And you call it being responsible.
PLUS, I know...
You’ve tried therapy, self-help, journaling, and endlessly working on yourself. You understand your patterns fluently. And you’re still stuck, because understanding your patterns and actually changing your life are two completely different things.
You don’t need more insight. You need someone who will hold you accountable to actually doing something different, and who understands exactly what you’ve been carrying as a woman of color navigating the space between who you were raised to be and who you actually are.
UNCOMMON RESONANCE COACHING IS DIFFERENT
And it's NOT for everyone...
This is not therapy.
This is not gentle self-discovery or passive reflection.
This is not a safe space to talk about your feelings without anything in your life actually changing.
This is direct, disciplined, action-oriented coaching that holds you accountable to becoming someone who actually follows through on yourself
…not just someone who understands why you don’t.
Most women of color have spent their entire lives being deeply aware of their patterns.
You know you people-please.
You know you seek approval.
You know you shrink.
Awareness has never been your problem.
Your problem is that nobody has ever held you to a higher standard than the one you’ve been living by.
Together we identify the specific patterns, fears, cultural pressures, family dynamics, and approval-seeking behaviors keeping you stuck
…and we build the self-trust, boundaries, discipline, and emotional resilience to start making decisions based on what you actually want instead of what keeps everyone else comfortable.
What changes with this coaching...
YOUR DECISIONS
You stop making choices from fear, guilt, obligation, and approval and start making them from self-trust and clarity.
YOUR BOUNDARIES
You stop tolerating what no longer fits and start protecting what actually matters to you.
YOUR RELATIONSHIPS
You stop editing yourself to keep people comfortable and start showing up as who you actually are.
YOUR DAILY LIFE
You stop organizing your routines, habits, and energy around everyone else's needs and start building a life that reflects your own.
YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH YOURSELF
You become someone who keeps her word to herself. Who follows through. Who can disappoint people and remain grounded. Who no longer needs external validation to feel certain about her own choices.
Done living for everyone else?
HI, I'M ANJALI!
I’m Anjali, a lawyer, published writer, NASM certified wellness coach, and full-time traveler who spent years building a life that looked exactly right from the outside and felt increasingly wrong underneath it.
Like most millennial women of color, I was taught how to achieve, perform, adapt, and make people proud long before anyone taught me how to ask myself what I actually wanted. I built the career. I met the expectations. I kept going. And I did it so well for so long that I completely lost the thread back to myself.
Rebuilding my life required a level of honesty, discipline, and willingness to disappoint people that nobody had ever asked of me before. It required me to stop organizing my existence around approval and obligation, and start making decisions rooted in who I actually am.

Are we a good fit?
This IS for you if...
You are done living around everyone else’s expectations and ready to build a life that actually fits you.
You feel successful on paper but disconnected from yourself underneath it all.
You are ready to figure out what you want; not what keeps your family, culture, or everyone around you comfortable.
You want direct, honest, action-oriented coaching that creates real change.
You are willing to challenge old patterns, have uncomfortable conversations, and make intentional changes anyway.
You want stronger boundaries, more self-trust, more clarity, and a life that genuinely feels like yours.
This is NOT for you if...
You want reassurance that your current life is “good enough” even though you know something feels off.
You want insight without action, motivation without accountability, or coaching that avoids discomfort.
You are not ready to question the roles, expectations, and identities you have built your life around.
You want to keep everyone comfortable, avoid difficult conversations, and stay attached to what feels familiar.
You want to talk about changing your life more than you want to actually change it.
The Experience
Understanding The Patterns Running Your Life
Before anything can change you have to be willing to see it clearly, and most millennial women of color have spent their entire lives being too busy, too responsible, and too focused on everyone else to ever stop and look.
You will begin to:
- Recognize exactly where and how you abandon yourself to keep other people comfortable, impressed, or proud, and understand why you keep doing it
- Identify your specific patterns around people-pleasing, perfectionism, guilt, overexplaining, and approval-seeking, and see how they show up across every area of your life
- Understand where your current life no longer reflects what you actually want versus what you were conditioned to want
- Separate your real desires from family pressure, cultural expectation, obligation, and the voices of everyone who had an opinion about who you should be
- Begin developing the emotional honesty and self-awareness that real change requires
- This phase ends the performance. It begins the work.
Building Self-Trust, Boundaries & Emotional Resilience
Awareness is not enough. Understanding your patterns fluently while continuing to live by them is one of the most common traps millennial women of color fall into, and it is exactly what this phase is designed to break.
Together we focus on:
- Building boundaries that actually hold – with your family, your partner, your workplace, and the cultural expectations that have been running your decisions for years
- Learning how to tolerate discomfort, disappointment, judgment, and being misunderstood without abandoning yourself the moment it gets hard
- Reducing overthinking, avoidance, indecision, and the fear-based decision-making that keeps you stuck in lives that no longer fit
- Strengthening your confidence, self-trust, and follow-through so you become someone who keeps her word to herself
- Developing healthier habits, routines, and ways of caring for yourself that don’t collapse the moment someone else needs something from you
Throughout this phase you will receive structured reflection exercises, intentional action assignments, and direct accountability designed to make sure this work shows up in your actual life, and not just in your understanding of it.
Creating A Life That Actually Feels Like Yours
This is where everything you have built comes together and where most women finally begin to feel the difference between the life they were performing and the one they are actually building.
You will begin:
- Making decisions from self-trust and clarity instead of fear, guilt, obligation, and approval, and feeling the difference in your body when you do
- Building routines, boundaries, and habits that protect and support the life you are actively creating instead of the one you have been maintaining for everyone else
- Developing the discipline, consistency, and emotional stability to follow through even when it is uncomfortable, misunderstood, or met with resistance
- Creating healthier relationships with yourself, your ambitions, your body, your work, and the people around you; rooted in honesty instead of performance
- Becoming a woman of color who stops waiting for permission, stops shrinking to fit, and starts living in a way that is fully and unapologetically her own
The goal is not perfection. The goal is becoming someone who is stronger, clearer, more self-aware, more disciplined, and more fully herself; and building a life that finally reflects it.
Psst...The life you actually want is not going to build itself

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is this therapy?
No. This is coaching, not therapy or mental health treatment. If you need clinical mental health support I will tell you that directly. This work is action-oriented and focused on patterns, boundaries, habits, relationships, decision-making, accountability, emotional resilience, and intentional life change. The difference is simple: therapy treats. Coaching builds.
What kinds of things do clients work on?
Relationship dynamics, people-pleasing, burnout, career crossroads, confidence, boundaries, identity shifts, major life transitions, self-trust, discipline, and the decisions that women of color keep avoiding because the cost of making them feels too high. If you have been organizing your life around approval, obligation, and everyone else’s expectations, that is what we work on.
What if I don't fully know what I want yet?
That is exactly where most women start. You don’t need clarity to begin. You just need to be honest about what isn’t working anymore. Part of this work is helping you reconnect with yourself strongly enough to start hearing your own answers underneath all the noise of everyone else’s expectations.
What kind of support happens between sessions?
You will receive reflection prompts, action assignments, and direct accountability between sessions. You are expected to do the work between calls, not just show up and talk. The goal is real change in your actual daily life. Not insight. Not understanding. Change.
Do I need to be in crisis to benefit from this?
No. Most clients are highly functional, successful women of color who know they no longer want to live according to obligation, fear, and external approval. You don’t need to be falling apart to want something different. You just need to be done with the version of your life you’ve been performing.
What if I struggle with follow-through?
Then this work is exactly what you need, and I will hold you to it. Most women already know intellectually what needs to change. The problem is nobody has ever refused to let them off the hook. That changes here.
Is there a long-term commitment?
No. Month-to-month always. But be honest with yourself: real change does not happen in 30 days. The women who get results commit to at least three months. Not because I require it. Because that is simply how this works.
You have spent long enough living a life that was built for everyone else.
If you are a woman of color who is done organizing your existence around approval, obligation, and expectation, and ready to be held to a standard you have never held yourself to, apply now.
